About Amherst Circle of Friends Preschool

Circle of Friends is a licensed home-based preschool program located in South Amherst, Massachusetts.  We serve children ages 2 to 5 years of age.  Come soar, create, express, wonder, develop, shine, inquire, play, explore and more with us at Circle of Friends. Our aim is to inspire children to grow physically, socially and intellectually in a small setting which helps them transition from home to elementary school.

The curriculum includes:

• Visual arts, creative movement, music, story telling, dramatic arts.
• Development of your child’s social and emotional skills.
• Fostering a growing sense of independence.
• Creating a sense of wonder about the natural world and a curiosity towards others and their diverse backgrounds.
• An active and dynamic physical program with plenty of outdoor time, hikes and gross motor play provided.

Susan Roberston has a Masters degree in Education from Wheelock College in Boston MA, as well as a Bachelor degree in Theater Arts and Dance and a strong background in visual arts. She has been teaching preschool-aged children for a total of fifteen years.

Circle of Friends is now accepting applications for 2009. Full- or part-time options are available.
